ACHIEVEMENTS: Ours is the Tertiary care referral CEMONC CENTRE for high risk obstetric cases not only for THENI DISTRICT but for the nearby bordering districts- Madurai , Dindigul and also Kerala up to nedukandam. Received platinum certification in LAQSHYA NATIONAL ASSESMENT IN 2019 which was among first three colleges to receive certification in tamil nadu. Re-certification also achieved in 2023 Became family welfare training centre in 2021. 3 batches of doctors. Staff nurses and paramedics have been trained for laparoscopic sterilization and Regular trainings are being conducted for sterilization surgeries During COVID period we have saved many pregnant mothers who were affected by COVID, Department has been conducting numerous workshops , CME’s , Gynaec endoscopy workshop under EAGLE PROJECT twice and other regular academic activities for postgraduates and undergraduates. LAQSHAYA CERTIFICATE
