Theni Government Medical College and Hospital is a teaching hospital in Theni district, Tamilnadu, India. It was established in 2004.the college is located on National Highways 85, 9 km from district headquarters , Theni and 7km from Andipatty.  Our college & hospital are green campus, The foundation stone was laid on 16 August 2002. The first college and hospital primeses were inaugurated on 8 December 2004. First 100 students were admitted to the M.B.B.S programme in 2006. The postgraduate programme initiated in 2018 for 9 departments (Anaesthesia, Anatomy, Emergency medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Psychiatry). We also offer other courses like Nursing, Allied Health Science, Certificate courses.
