Theni Government Medical College and Hospital is a teaching hospital in Theni district, Tamilnadu, India. It was established in 2004. The college is located on National Highways 85. It is 9 km from district headquarters, Theni and 7km from Andipatty.  Our college & hospital are green campus. The foundation stone was laid on 16th August 2002. The college and hospital premises was inaugurated on 8th December 2004. First 100 students were admitted to the M.B.B.S programme in 2006. The postgraduate programme was initiated in 2018 for 9 departments (Anaesthesia, Anatomy, Emergency medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Psychiatry) and in 2025 for 1 department (Radiodiagnosis). We also offer other courses like Nursing, Allied Health Science, Certificate courses.
